MadoniEat: The Deli & Bistro in Palermo housed within Palazzo Butera
If you’re eager to discover the authentic flavors of the Madonie region, nestled in the heart of Sicily, a gastronomic stop at MadoniEat is a must.
Madonie mountains, with their enchanting villages among Italy’s most beautiful towns, and with their lush forest, and breathtaking landscapes, hold a precious heritage worth safeguarding.
In MadoniEat, located at 20 Via Butera in Palermo, you can immerse your senses in the lush Sicilian hinterland.
Choosing MadoniEat means embarking on a journey where taste meets tradition while actively supporting the region through its finest products: from exquisite liqueurs to delightful jams; from craft beer to biodynamic wine, exclusively sourced from Sicilian lands; from local extra virgin olive oil to authentic salami and strictly Sicilian cheeses.
MadoniEat has the privilege of being housed within the magnificent Palazzo Butera, restored to its ancient glory by Francesca and Massimo Valsecchi. The monumental restoration work, led by Architect Giovanni Cappelletti, made way for the creation of the first deli & bistrò in the heart of Palermo. Within the bistrò’s walls, original ceramic tiles on the floor bear witness to the Palazzo’s ancient history. The entrance is adjacent to the main entrance of Palazzo Butera, a perfect blend of history and culinary innovation.
The warmth, professionalism, and smiles of the MadoniEat team are the cherry on top of their delicious cakes, prepared with strictly organic ingredients. A unique gastronomic experience, where the scents and flavors of the Madonie harmoniously meld with the prestige of Palazzo Butera; all served with attentive and caring service.
